About The Salt Room® Oviedo
A passion for natural wellness, born from personal experience.
Meet Felicia P, Owner
"My wellness journey led me to salt therapy 15 years ago and turned into a passion for encouraging others to live their best life."
If there is an alternative therapy for a health challenge, Felicia will find it and share it with you. What started as a personal health journey became a calling to bring natural, accessible wellness to the Oviedo community.
Make time for yourself… we only get one chance to make this life an amazing one. The Salt Room® Oviedo is Felicia's answer to that challenge — a spa-like sanctuary where the whole family can breathe easier, feel better, and reconnect.

Conditions Salt Therapy May Help
Based on 40+ years of clinical research. Individual results vary — always consult your physician for medical conditions.
Research & Science
Is halotherapy backed by scientific research?
Yes. Dry salt aerosol therapy has been studied in clinical halochamber settings for over 40 years. Research consistently shows benefit for upper and lower respiratory conditions including asthma, allergies, bronchitis, sinusitis, and COPD. Many of our guests are referred by their pulmonologist, allergist, or pediatrician.
What conditions does salt therapy help with?
Halotherapy has been associated with benefit for 15+ conditions including: asthma, allergies, sinusitis, bronchitis, rhinitis, hay fever, COPD symptoms, cystic fibrosis, emphysema, eczema, psoriasis, stress and anxiety, cold and flu, and sinus infections.
Results vary by individual and condition severity. Halotherapy is a complementary therapy — it does not replace medication prescribed by your physician. See our medical disclaimer.
How many sessions before I see results?
Most guests notice clearer breathing after 1–3 sessions. For chronic respiratory or skin conditions, practitioners typically recommend a series of 8–12 sessions over several weeks for lasting benefit.
Maintenance sessions (1–2 per month) help sustain results. Our membership plans make regular sessions accessible and affordable — see membership options.
Will salt therapy interfere with my medication?
Halotherapy is all-natural and does not interact with medications. However, it should never be used as a replacement for prescribed medication. Always consult your physician before beginning any new complementary therapy, especially if you have a complex respiratory condition.
Your Visit
What happens during a salt session?
Our halogenerator grinds pharmaceutical-grade salt into a fine dust that is dispersed into the room for you to inhale. The salt rooms are designed for relaxation — sit back in our recliners and breathe deeply.
The doors remain closed during the session for the optimum experience and to keep salt particles in the room. Arrive a few minutes early — sessions start promptly on the hour or half hour.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing. Darker colors may show salt but it brushes off easily and won't damage fabric. Blankets are available, or bring your own (the room gets cool).
Wear booties over your shoes (provided) or bring clean white socks. Shoes cannot be worn in the room without booties due to the purity of the salt.
Will I be alone?
Salt rooms accommodate up to 4 people per session. Sessions can have 1–4 guests at a time. Contact us to book the room for a private event.
Is salt therapy safe during pregnancy?
Yes — it is completely safe and all natural. We recommend consulting your physician before any new treatment. Many pregnant women find relief for respiratory or skin issues while unable to take prescription medications. Salt therapy can also boost the immune system.
What should I expect during my session?
Sessions last 45 minutes in a room surrounded with sea salt on walls and floors. Close your eyes and take deep cleansing breaths. Giant Himalayan salt lamps provide negative ions throughout the room.
⚠️ We recommend leaving your phone in a provided locker — salt is corrosive and can damage devices including smart watches. Plastic bags are available if you choose to bring a device.
Is salt therapy safe for children?
Yes, completely safe. Our children's room is designed for fun salt play time with beach toys.
- Parents must stay with children ages 6 and under (complimentary)
- Children ages 7–11 may be in the room without a parent — parent/guardian must be on premises
- Additional parents: $20
Medical Disclaimer
Halotherapy should never replace any medication prescribed by your doctor. Halotherapy should be avoided if you are running a fever, spitting up blood, or have any of the following: active tuberculosis, cardiac insufficiency, COPD in its third stage, bleed, alcohol or drug use, unstable hypertension, and acute stages of respiratory disease.
